Incident Description:
I am a District Coordinator for Georgia's Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention Program. During a home assessment for a child who has tested above the current BLRV established by the CDC, I tested an insulated water bottle/tumbler with my XRF device that the child used frequently. The item consistently tested positive for lead on the bottom. It is important to note, however, that toward the end of the assessment, the batteries of my XRF malfunctioned and I was unable to calibrate out.
Business Comments:
Zak Designs, Inc.: This item is manufactured in accordance with industry standards and routinely tested by independent 3rd party international laboratories. This product was professionally tested for lead and passed all applicable testing. I can provide the test results.

I checked the user manual and it said it was due to an uneven load. I checked the load and it did not appear to be uneven. I then turned the washer off and used the spin only cycle and it worked fine. Since then, there are times the washer will perform properly, but it is happening more and more that when in the...

As of today 12/7/20 I am puzzled by why I have received no acknowledgement to my letter of 9/25/20 (copy follows)
regarding the hazardous and potentially lethal problem with the leads used on a multimeter made in China and sold

Is this of any concern?
