Incident Description:
We purchased a crib from a consignment shop that I learned, upon returning home, had been recalled. It is the Simplicity Ellis Crib, recalled for the structurally poor metal tubular mattress support railings. The store owner wanted to argue that the crib was not included in the recall. We showed her the information on the cpsc.gov website regarding the crib, but she still denied that the crib was included in the recall. While she reluctantly refunded our money, her major concern was that...

The screws will not stay in no matter how much they are tightened on either bed. One...

Incident Description:
I own a simplicity drop side crib that apparently was recalled. I did not know this at the time. It came from a "nursery in a box" set that included a changing table and dresser. The drop side plastic piece broke off and now the drop side will no longer stay up or be held up. This happened when my child first woke up and stood up (most likely pulling herself up on the bar of the drop side). I heard her say, "Uh Oh" and when I got to her room, the left side of the drop side had...

Incident Description:
The Simplicity 4 in 1 convertible crib that we purchased from Target in 2006 is very loose and wobbly now. We have "converted" it many times through two children. All of the screws and stripped and the side supports are wobbly. Both children also chewed on the front, back, and side rails and most of the wood finish came off. I'm sure they swallowed most of it. At the time we were unaware of lead poisoning so I don't know if it harmed them or not. I saw that all the cribs have been...

Incident Description:
I have just been given a Simplicity baby crib with changing table that attaches to the crib. One side of the crib has a broken plastic notch that slides up and down on the side of the crib. Upon researching this crib it has been recalled and no replacement parts are available. This crib # is vendor #8994W
Date made 2204 CW. Am I out of luck on a fix for this crib, or even getting a new crib?
Thank you, please response quickly. Needing a crib for my newborn granddaughter.
