The consumer stated that the scented candle had been lit for about an hour before it was blown out. A few moments later, the top part of the candle exploded into pieces. The lid did not explode, it was the glass part that holds the candle that exploded.

  • Incident Description: I received a Fragrant Jewels Candle as a gift. The candle had been lit this morning for about an hour when my husband blew it out. A few moments later he went to put the lid on the candle and the top part of the candle exploded into pieces. The lid did not explode, it was the glass part that holds the candle that exploded. The lid he tried to put on the candle came with candle when it was new.
