The family: 10 YO & 13 YO children, 46 YOF, & 47 YOM, was awakened by a CO2 detector. FD & Gas company evacuated house. CO2 levels was showing at 242 PPM. The gas company determined the gas range was the cause and deemed it defective/dangerous.

  • Incident Description: My family was woken up by Co2 detectors in the middle of the night. The fire department and gas company evacuated the house and cleared the gas - Showing at 242 PPM Co2 levels when fire department showed up. Gas company determined the gas range ZLINE RG-26 bought 12/2020 was determined the cause and deemed defective/dangerous. Zline is using their warranty as a reason not to give us our full money back. We are not interested in a replacement unit. We no longer trust the safety of this product and will not put our family's life in danger. This manufacturer is not doing the right thing by the customer and the public should know about it.
