  • Incident Description: Operation of oven of ZLINE model RG36 gas range trips carbon monoxide sensor in the house. Informed ZLINE of the issue, they advised local gas utility to inspect. Local gas utility indicated that the range should be fixed by manufacturer. Manufacturer indicated out of warranty, nothing to be done. Most 3rd party repair companies will not touch the brand. Found a repairman to inspect later on, he indicated that the design flaw is inherent to the manufacturer, advised to look online to see it’s a common issue (excessive gas leak, faulty range, or broken parts). Afraid to operate the oven for the last 2 months with no resolution from the company (offer to sell parts, authorized repair company, etc). Many consumers complaining of inability to contact or resolve issues.

  • ZLINE KITCHEN AND BATH LLC: We would like to point out that the customer was indeed helped by our customer experience team, and ZLINE has approved a new range for the customer (who accepted it) as a replacement to the defected unit. The new range was shipped at delivered to the customer In April 2022. The customer was satisfied with this resolution.
