Report Summary

Drinking glasses with a water & electrolyte mixture are shattering untouched. The 1st glass had little to no liquid left in it & it shattered sending glass all over. This was witnessed by my husband & myself. A 2nd glass filled with same contents did the same. No Injuries.

  • Incident Description: New Ikea glasses with a water and electrolyte mixture are shattering untouched and on there own. The first glass had little to no liquid left in it and had been on a desk untouched for about 30 minutes and it shattered sending glass all over. This was witnessed by my husband and myself. A second glass today filled with the same contents did the same sending the liquid everywhere and large pieces of glass with it.
