  • Incident Description: The Simplicity 4 in 1 convertible crib that we purchased from Target in 2006 is very loose and wobbly now. We have "converted" it many times through two children. All of the screws and stripped and the side supports are wobbly. Both children also chewed on the front, back, and side rails and most of the wood finish came off. I'm sure they swallowed most of it. At the time we were unaware of lead poisoning so I don't know if it harmed them or not. I saw that all the cribs have been recalled due to failure of the bottom ring supports. But this wobbly issue could be a good reason to recall them to. If the cribs were meant to be converted, they should hold up through many conversions.
