The first hinge screw in one corner fell off a few months after buying the crib. 2 years later, the other hinge screw in the opposite side where the drop down rail is located also fell off while 2 yof was playing in it, which is adjacent to the adult bed. entrapment hazard.

  • Incident Description: The first hinge screw in one corner fell off a few months after buying it and I replaced it. And 2 years later, the other hinge screw in the opposite side where the drop down rail is located also fell off while my daughter was playing in it, which is adjacent to my queen size bed. I got scared and was shocked and surprised. I didn't know that this was recalled until today when I was planning to sell it or give it away and researched it online. It a very dangerous problem because what if I wasn't around her and she got stuck between my bed and her crib? And to think that there are tons of them out there without the parents knowing.
