  • Incident Description: We were given a ChildESIGNS Drop Side Crib in April of 2002 as a baby shower gift. We used it until our son out grew it in 2004 and converted into a toddler bed and once he out grew that we stored it away. Our youngest was born in October of 2009 and we are currently using it for him and just today the plastic part you lift to drop down the side cracked and broke. We didnt hear about this recall until we got on and Googled replacement parts for this crib and are now looking into buying another crib because of the potential hazard. Better safe than sorry.
