(09/10/2019) The consumer is concerned about the safety of the baskets in the freezer. She stated that the previous upright freezer that she owned had a stopper to prevent the baskets from falling out of the freezer. When she pulled the bottom basket out of the new freezer, it came completely out and fell on her foot and bruise her big toe.

The consumer stated that she was lucky that she had not filled the basket with food.

No medical attention was required. Ice & [REDACTED] by customer
10/16/19 Podiatrist assumed not broken but may have a damage to nail that cannot be seen for 3-6 months

(10/10/19) The consumer contacted GE and was advised that the information would be passed on to the legal/insurance department.
