I was severely injured on 1-1-2019 when both of my brand new [REDACTED] ski bindings prereleased for no apparent reason causing me to fall breaking my arm and dislocating my shoulder.

I initially contacted [REDACTED] [REDACTED], from [REDACTED] customer service. Mr. [REDACTED] blamed my used Salomon boots on the [REDACTED] binding malfunction. Therefore, I had the bindings independently tested with brand new boots from other manufactures. The bindings tested the same. The ski boots were irrelevant to the injury. I have since made repeated attempts to follow up with Mr. [REDACTED] and I am being stonewalled since I inquired if there have been any other reported injuries associated with the [REDACTED] ski bindings.

It appears the [REDACTED] ski binding is a very dangerous defective product that should be immediately recalled. Instead there appears to be a defective product cover-up by the [REDACTED risk manager.

Business Comments:
(2/19/2019) The reference to a previous Look binding safety recall in this report is irrelevant, and potentially misleading. That recall was due to a non-standard part in a different model of Look binding, which uses completely different technology. The binding that is ... (More)
