Vista chair 2012-2014
Hi - I own a 2011 Vista stroller. In 2018, I was expecting my second child and wanted to replace the fabric. UppaBaby said they no longer manufactured fabric for the 2011 Vista and offered to upgrade the baby seat entirely for $150 (new chair and new fabric). They told me they would send a chair from their 2012-2014 Vista line. They sent me the chair, it looked great and worked on my 2011 stroller frame. Fast-forward to 2019, I now have a 10-month old who is teething and he has been biting the foam fabric off the bumper bar and it comes away in big chunks. I did a google search and saw there was a recall of the Uppababy Vista 2015 model for this exact reason. It's shocking to me that Uppababy in 2018 is still sending consumers this dangerous product! There should be a recall on the 2012-2014 models as well. These strollers retail for around $1k and are used for many years. It's surprising to me that the recall only applied to one model and not all the models with the dangerous bumper bar.
