I was using a BIC lighter to light a cigarette, and when I was finished, and still holding the lighter near my face, the entire lighter caught on fire, engulfing my entire right hand in flames. I threw the lighter into the ground and it made a popping noise and the flame went out. I sustained a burn on the upper portion if my right lip and right index finger.
