I purchased an Electrolux Icon Dual Fuel Range in early 2011. The control panel has burned out multiple times. The control panel is located near the gas stove top and there is a concern that a burning/faulty control panel could ignite the gas. I am also concerned because on one occasion when this happened the oven locked and went into cleaning mode with food inside. I have reported my concerns to Electrolux and have requested a replacement of the range if this is a lemon range or a refund if this is a problem with the design of this particular model. They have not responded to this request.

I have contacted the manufacturer. They have requested copies of repairs from my repair person. They stated that the repairs would be reviewed and they would contact me if they had any assistance to offer.
