Purchased Tempur-pedic Cloud Supreme mattress set on 7/21/12. The product produces intense chemical off-gassing, which has caused us to experience burning noses and sinuses, sore throats, chemical taste in mouth, headaches, racing heart, jitteriness, and weak knees. The fumes are so strong, that I have not been able to use my master bedroom, since taking delivery of the mattress. After 42 days, Tempur-pedic exchanged the mattress, but the replacement has the same intense off-gassing. We have tried all the recommendations from Tempur-pedic to alleviate the odor - opening all windows, and running fans, as well as removing the cover and washing it - all to no avail. The odor is still very intense and sickening, even after another 35 days with the second mattress. The weather is now turning colder and it is more difficult to leave the windows open 24/7. I am very concerned of the long term health effects of this mattress. I strongly urge you to investigate the toxicity of Tempur-pedic mattresses.
