(9/20/2012) The consumer stated that his wife was using a clothes steamer for approximately 30 minutes. The consumer then noticed a flame that was approximately 5 to 8" high near the base of the unit where the plug connects to. The consumer received a minor burn to her upper right hand near her wrist. The consumer did not receive medical treatment, but applied ice and cocoa butter to her wound.

(9/20/2012) The consumer contacted the manufacturer and a report was filed. A Rep. (name unknown) advised him that they would send out a return sticker for them to send the unit to their lab for inspection.
