We purchase a GE Profile bottom freezer Refrigerator in 2007. The unit was completely replaced by GE after three service calls for the unit not being able to maintain temperature. The unit was replaced with same model in 2008 PFS22SISBSS with a new unit. To this day, the unit barely keeps it correct temperature, and now we realize that we had been making excuses for the unit due to our teenagers using the product and possibly leaving the doors open. Well, the fact of the matter is that we conducted an experiment while on vacation, and returned home after two weeks, to our unit being at 61 degrees, both freezer and fridge, and the unit was sealed for two weeks!
We are constantly throwing away spoiled items and have moved all frozen food to a freezer in our unattached garage (that [REDACTED] Refrigerator is over 10 years old!)
We purchased top- of- the-line appliances for our new home in 2007, sparing no expense and all appliances, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove/range have had a minimum of two service calls a piece!
We will never purchase from GE again, but do we have any further recourse??
If you [REDACTED] the Model number of the refrigerator, we are not alone in this identical and repetitive issue!
Thank you for any and all assistance in this matter.
