My son, Age 3 1/2, tripped and fell while walking from the car into our home on our garage (cement) floor. This resulted in immediate unconsciousness (temporary) and he was diagnosed with a concussion. He also had a laceration on his nose which required antibiotic cream and has resulted in scaring.

He fell because of his shoes; SKECHERS Hot Lights: Deflecktord - Turbo S. These are Velcro shoes which use the "super Z strap". The Z strap does not conform tightly to a child’s foot resulting in an extreme loose foot. In fact, there is no-way to tighten the shoe at all! The foot not the ankle are not supported properly. These shoes are marketed as a sneaker/ tennis shoe, not as a loose clauge-style as they fit.
