    Incident Description: This dehumidifier is being used in our home. The unit works sometime and them does not work other times. It will run but does not extract much water from the air. I decided to check into this model and found out it was in recall.

    Incident Description: We own a Soleus Air Dehumidifier Model #SG-DEH-45-1A. It overheated and started smoking. The plastic was melting and we experienced extremely strong fume as well as burning smells. I am not sure if it was on fire but there was a thick haze in the room.
