    Incident Description: I have a Babyliss travel size pro hair dryer, purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond within the last year (unfortunately I do not have the original sales receipt). This morning, immediately after being switched on, the hair dryer sparked and began smoking heavily.

    Incident Description: I was using my about 8 month old pink Revlon 1875 hairdryer, plugged into a grounded power strip, and sparks began flying out, landing on my rug. I was able to put out the smoldering materials but it could have caused a severe fire.
