    (8/9/2012) Westinghouse Lighting Corporation will contact this consumer to have the remains of the bulb returned for our inspection. It is very unusual for this CFL lamp to explode.

    (8/9/2012) Halogen bulbs are not recommended for light under a hood vent. The vibration from the fan could cause the bulb to fail. Halogen bulbs should only be used in equipment that specifies this lamp.
