    Incident Description: Kenmore dehumidifier 405.54570410 control panel started on fire and melted. I could smell burning plastic. I went into basement to see that the dehumidifier was smoking and had quit running. Part of the panel was melted.

    Incident Description: We own a Kenmore dehumidifier. Model # 251.50701010. We had an incident with it that involved what must have been a wiring malfunction. The unit filled our basement with smoke, tripped a breaker and no longer functions.
